Run for the good times at Australia’s leading marathon, the 2017 Gold Coast Airport Marathon to be held 1 to 2 July in one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world in Queensland, Australia.

Take on a personal challenge and join more than 28,000 participants of all ages and abilities from around the world in eight races including the Gold Coast Airport Marathon, Wheelchair Marathon, ASICS Half Marathon, Wheelchair 15km, Southern Cross University 10km Run, 5.7km Challenge, Zespri 4km Junior Dash and Zespri 2km Junior Dash.

Enjoy the beautiful Gold Coast conditions on the internationally recognised fast, flat and scenic course and take in the beautiful broadwater and sparkling surf beaches. The weather is traditionally great for running with low humidity, little or no wind in the morning and mild temperatures, which is ideal if you’re striving for a personal best time.

Join five legends of Australian marathon running who are ambassadors for the event. Sub 2:10 marathon runners Rob de Castella, Steve Moneghetti, Pat Carroll and Lee Troop, along with Australian women’s marathon record holder Benita Willis, continue their long association with one of their favourite races.
